Did You Know On Average A Dollar Circulates For 6 Hours In The African American Community?

According to a 2011 survey published by The Nielsen Company, African Americans were projected to have a buying power of $1.1 Trillion annually by 2015. As African American consumers we have more power than we are actually using! An African dollar circulates in our community for only 6 hours! That’s right! 6 hours. In comparison a dollar circulates in the Asian Community for approximately 30 days and the Jewish community for approximately 20 days. We have great potential to leverage our dollars for the benefit of our communities if we are strategic and intentional.
