Oh No She Didn’t! Woman Facing 5 Years In Prison For Putting Image of Confederate Flag On Black Co-Worker’s Desk

58 year old Susan Thompson left a print image of the Confederate flag on her black co-worker’s desk shortly after the church shooting at Emmanuel AME Church in South Carolina where 9 people were shot and killed in June 2015. She then lied about it.

Thompson who is white is now facing up to five years in prison. She initially lied to federal investigators twice but eventually admitted that she placed the image on her co-worker’s desk.
