I agree with all of it. And we NEED to revisit Baldwin in these times! Once MLK extended his reach beyond blacks to poor whites to try to unify, THAT’S when they got him. He’d already proven he could organize and bring folks to the table. They weren’t going to let that happen. And I’m happy to see the protesting hasn’t abated. It’s good we’re not running anymore. I’m reminded of Claude McKay’s “If We Must Die.” Thanks for posting this!

I will use my voice like our lives depends on it because it does. This is for all women we are the leaders of the world . The quiet storms our bellies are swollen with pain. Our eyes full with worry our hearts are fulled with tears, we cry inside . We need to breath the gift of life and remember the greatest gift is you , we the people the creators. Always remember who gave us those gifts creation the most high. If we are going to be here on this earth you better make it count and when you leave laugh out loud leave your marks ladies and gents, children are watching and recording in there memories.
