This quiz had me stumped. It was a great exercise in history, and I/we have so much more to learn about in Black history. It is crucial to children’s success, empathy and empowerment that they learn their distant and not-too-distant histories. We fascinate others with our brilliance and resilience, and so it stays covered, not discovered. Time for discovery!

Thanks for taking the quiz!! My goal was actually for people to get more wrong than correct. That would mean that the could learn twenty NEW things about black history!!

Mission accomplished! More wrong answers than right and I considered myself pretty well grounded in African-American history. I am ashamed of myself, but not too much that I wouldn’t admit it.
What this quiz informed us all, not just myself, is that we have a lot more learning AND teaching to do! History unfolds everyday.
